It is located on the north-eastern coast of the island and has a natural harbor where ferry boats from Piraeus or Aegina dock.

Skala is a tourist settlement with a very good tourist infrastructure, which has spotlessly clean hotels, rooms, apartments, studios and all kinds of shops.

Skala has approximately 354 inhabitants, is 2 kilometers from Megalochori and has a regional clinic and a pharmacy.

In the restaurants, taverns and ouzo bars you will taste and enjoy a wide variety of appetizers and mezes, cooked food, grilled on charcoal, fresh fish and seafood from the island’s fishermen and you will drink ouzo, tsipouro and chilled wine.

In the center of Skala dominates the all-white Church of Saints Anargyri with the blue dome, whose Holy Table was inaugurated by Saint Nektarios himself.

The Church is located in Skala Square, where there is free Municipal parking and safe playgrounds for children.

In Skala there are two very well organized beaches where you can swim.

The first beach is the beach of Agioi Anargyro, located at the beginning of Skala, next to the port. It is a long sandy beach, with golden sand and crystal clear shallow waters, which gathers a lot of people and many families, since the sea is shallow and suitable for children and the elderly.

The beach “Sunrise” is the second beach of Skala, located at the exit of Skala, on the coastal road to Megalochori. It is pebbly and in places sandy, the most “in” hangout of the youth and it also gathers a lot of people.

For your entertainment, there are snack cafes, sweet shops, bars and clubs for all hours, from morning until … the next morning.
